Over the last several years, and particularly during 2024, the TWRCS Board has strived to
stabilize the organization through the chaos and strains of the Covid period, massive
fluctuations in funding, turn-over of Executive Directors and financial staff, and, more recently,
unrenewed funding contracts and subsequent lay-offs—including the role of the Executive
Director.

Thank you for your ongoing patience and grace as Terrace Women’s Resource Society processes the immense sense of loss in losing our not just our funding, but the amazing staff that worked diligently to create safe, accessible, inclusive and respecSul spaces and programs.

The Terrace Women’s Resource Centre Society has had an extremely busy year with our amazing team of individuals. As we begin year 2024, we are saddened to report that due to circumstances far beyond our control, we have had very limited success in acquiring the funding required to sustain the 2023 staff and programming.
